A beauty elixir sounds magical doesn’t it, like something you just have to have. And have I do, as this little guy and his friend made an appearance at Why Hello Beauty HQ a few weeks back, and I’m so happy I can now share what I think. While the technical description for the Dermatonics’ Beauty Elixir is ‘an advanced, age defying, wrinkle refining and collagen boosting moisturiser that’s infused with native medicinal plant extracts to help promote cellular repair mechanisms’; I simply say it’s just a damn good moisturizer that feels like heaven on the skin.
The ingredients in Beauty Elixir are scientifically proven to help assist in boosting collagen and elasticity while protecting cellular components, to help skin look younger, and the consistency almost has a pearl-esque shine to it which I’m sure adds an extra little something to the face once applied. It’s has a pump dispenser which is my favourite kind of packaging, as it just makes it easier to control how much you’re using and feels much more hygienic than pots. It glides over damp or dry skin effortlessly, and I actually prefer using it of an evening as it’s a teeny bit thicker than a normal day cream, and when I mix in a touch of rosehip oil, it’s even better.
It’s only been a few weeks but I can see my fine lines around my eye area are diminished when I use this product, and I’m hoping this will only continue over extended use – and maybe a few extra glasses of water!
Now on to the other product, Dermatonics Hand & Body Nutrition. I’ve been using this on my hands as they’re as dry as the Sahara Desert in this weather, and while it packs a punch of hydration – it’s completely non greasy which I love. The cream is formulated with specially chosen ingredients to assist in the management of dry skin, and to help improve the appearance of ageing skin – which I’ll take all I can with my 30th birthday fast approaching in October …
I have noticed that my rosecea doesn’t seem to flare up when I use Dermatonics products and not one product has ever given me a reaction or irritation, just the glow of good skin. As I’ve mentioned previously, Dermatonics is completely vegan friendly and proudly Australia made and owned clinical-grade skincare that I recommend you try in 2018.
